Factors affecting the unit cost of industrial solvent distillation

Cost is an important factor while selecting an industrial solvent distillation unit. However, in the long run, what also matters is the value you expect from the distillation unit. Accordingly, this blog discusses cost and functionality based factors while selecting a suitable industrial solvent distillation unit.  Solvent cost (volume and type): The volume of solvent to be distilled affects the cost. However, the type of solvent also has a significant impact on the cost of the solvent. For example, solvents such as toluene and acetone are not very expensive.
